The Embryo (Al-Alaq)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Recite in the name of your Lord Who created, 1 He created man from a clot of blood. 2 Recite, and your Lord is the most Generous - 3 who taught by the pen, 4 Hath taught man that which he knew not. 5 Yet man behaves arrogantly, 6 because he thinks himself self-sufficient: 7 Verily, to thy Lord is the return (of all). 8 What thinkest thou? He who forbids 9 a worshiper when he prays. 10 What is your opinion – if he were upon guidance, 11 Or had enjoined piety, (it would have been better)? 12 What will happen if the prohibiting rejects the Truth and turns away from it!? 13 Did he not know that God sees? 14 Nay, if he desist not, We shall most surely drag him down upon his forehead 15 A lying, sinful forelock! 16 Then, let him call upon his council (of helpers), 17 We also shall call the infernal guards. 18 Yes indeed; do not listen to him – and prostrate, and become close to Us. (Command of Prostration # 14) ۩ 19
Almighty Allah's Truth.
