۞ By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities musterers: 53 Most surely these are a small company; 54 and indeed they are enraging us; 55 But we are a numerous host, ever on guard." 56 So We expelled them from gardens and fountains, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 and We made the Children of Israel inheritors of these bounties. 59 And so [the Egyptians] caught up with them at sunrise; 60 and when the groups came face to face, the companions of Moses cried out: "We are overtaken!" 61 He said: By no means; surely my Lord is with me: He will show me a way out. 62 Then We inspired to Moses, "Strike with your staff the sea," and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain. 63 Then We brought the two parties closer. 64 and We delivered Moses and his companions, all of them, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 67 Surely, your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
