Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By those [winds] sent forth in gusts 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 by (the angels) spreading (the words of God) far and wide, 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 And those [angels] who deliver a message 5 to provide excuses for some and to give warnings to others: 6 Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass. 7 Then when the stars lose their lights; 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 And when the mountains are blown away, 10 And when the messengers' time has come... 11 to what day shall they be delayed? 12 The Day of Judgement. 13 And what will convey unto thee what the Day of Decision is! - 14 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth. 15 Have We not destroyed the earlier generations? 16 and let the latter follow them? 17 [for] thus do We deal with such as are lost in sin. 18 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 19 Did We not create you from a base fluid 20 which We then placed in a secure repository 21 for an appointed term? 22 Thus have We determined [the nature of man's creation]: and excellent indeed is Our power to determine [what is to be]! 23 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle, 25 the living and the dead? 26 And made therein lofty mountains, and given you to drink of sweet water? 27 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 28 Walk on to that which you called a lie. 29 Go on towards the threefold shadow 30 Neither shading nor availing against the flame. 31 that shoots sparks like dry faggots, 32 and yellow camels. 33 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 34 That will be the Day on which they will not (be able to) utter a word, 35 Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses. 36 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 37 This is the Day of Decision; We have gathered you and all the earlier men. 38 So if you have a plan, plan against Me (now). 39 Woe on the day unto the beliers! 40
