In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
A. L. M. 1 These are Verses of the Wise Book,- 2 for a guidance and a mercy to the good-doers 3 who establish Prayer and pay Zakah, and have firm faith in the Hereafter. 4 It is they who are on true guidance from their Lord, and it is they who shall prosper. 5 But there are, among men, those who purchase idle tales, without knowledge (or meaning), to mislead (men) from the Path of Allah and throw ridicule (on the Path): for such there will be a Humiliating Penalty. 6 And when Our verses are recited to him he haughtily turns away as if he did not hear them – as if there is deafness in his ears; so give him the glad tidings of a painful punishment. 7 For those who believe and work righteous deeds, there will be Gardens of Bliss,- 8 They will abide in them for ever. The promise of God is true; and He is all-mighty and all-wise. 9 He created the heavens without pillars as you see them, and put mountains upon the earth lest it might convulse with you, and He spread in it animals of every kind; and We sent down water from the cloud, then caused to grow therein (vegetation) of every noble kind. 10 this is God's creation. Show me then what those besides Him have created! The wrongdoers are in manifest error. 11
