[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 and raised its vault high and proportioned it; 28 and darkened its night, and brought forth its forenoon; 29 And after that, the earth: wide has He spread its expanse, 30 and brought out of it its water and its pasture, 31 And the mountains hath He firmly fixed;- 32 an enjoyment for you and your flocks. 33 But when the great calamity will come about 34 on that Day man will [clearly] remember all that he has ever wrought; 35 And Hell-Fire shall be placed in full view for (all) to see,- 36 then as for him who was insolent 37 And who chose the life of the world, 38 Then indeed, Hellfire will be [his] refuge. 39 However, those who had feared their Lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires. 40 shall dwell in Paradise. 41 They ask you: "When will the Hour be? When is its time fixed?" 42 (Muhammad), you do not know (when and how) it will come. 43 To your Lord belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof? 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth it. 45 On the day that they see it, it will be as though they had not tarried but the latter part of a day or the early part of it. 46

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
