And it is He who produced for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful. 78 And He has multiplied you through the earth, and to Him shall ye be gathered back. 79 And it is He who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of the night and the day. Then will you not reason? 80 And talk as did the people of old. 81 They say: when we are dead, and have become dust and bones, shall we verily be raised up? 82 We were already promised this, we and our forefathers. Lo! this is naught but fables of the men of old. 83 Say: 'Whose is the earth, and whoso is in it, if you have knowledge?' 84 They will say, "To Allah!" say: "Yet will ye not receive admonition?" 85 Ask them, "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Great Throne?" 86 They will say: "God." Say: "Then why do you not obey and fear Him?" 87 Say: In Whose hand is the dominion over all things and He protecteth, while against Him there is no protection, if ye have knowledge? 88 'Allah' they will reply. Say: 'How then can you be so bewitched' 89 In fact We brought the Truth to them, and indeed they are liars. 90 Never did God take unto Himself any offspring, nor has there ever been any deity side by side with Him: [for, had there been any,] lo! each deity would surely have stood apart [from the others] in whatever it had created, and they would surely have [tried to] overcome one another! Limitless in His glory is God, [far] above anything that men may devise by way of definition, 91 The Knower of the unseen and the seen, so may He be exalted above what they associate (with Him). 92
