The people of Nooh denied the Noble Messengers. 105 When their brother Nuh said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 106 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 And I ask of you no wage therefor; my wage is the concern only of the Lord of the Worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They said: shall We believe in thee when the meanest follow thee? 111 He said: "And what do I know as to what they do? 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if ye could (but) understand. 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a clear warner." 115 They said: "If you cease not, O Nuh (Noah)! You will surely be among those stoned (to death)." 116 He prayed: "O Lord, verily my people accuse me of lies. 117 Therefore judge You between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me." 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 and drowned the others. 120 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 121 surely your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 122
