The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Woe to every slanderer and backbiter 1 Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by, 2 Does he think that his wealth will prolong his stay on earth forever? 3 On the contrary! He shall be flung to the Crusher. 4 and what shall teach thee what is the Crusher; 5 It is the fire kindled by Allah, 6 which shall oversee the hearts, 7 Lo! it is closed in on them 8 in extended columns. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
