۞ And when the son of Mary was presented as an example, immediately your people laughed aloud. 57 "Are our gods any better than Jesus (for according to Muhammad), if our gods go to hell so too will Jesus. What they say is only a false argument. In fact, they are a quarrelsome people. 58 (Jesus) was only a creature whom We favoured and made an example for the children of Israel. 59 And if it were Our Will, We would have [destroyed you (mankind) all, and] made angels to replace you on the earth. So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 63 God is your Lord and my Lord, so worship Him. This is the right path". 64 But sects from among themselves fell into disagreement: then woe to the wrong-doers, from the Penalty of a Grievous Day! 65 Do they only wait for the Hour - that it should come on them all of a sudden, while they perceive not? 66 Close friends, that Day, will be enemies to each other, except for the righteous 67
