Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the heavens are rent asunder, 1 the stars are dispersed, 2 When the seas are poured forth, 3 and when graves are laid open, 4 Every soul shall know what it has sent before and held back. 5 O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?- 6 Who created you, then made you complete, then made you symmetrical? 7 Into whatsoever form He will, He casteth thee. 8 Not at all – but rather you deny the establishment of Justice. 9 But verily, over you (are appointed angels in charge of mankind) to watch you. 10 noble scribes 11 They know what you do. 12 Indeed, the righteous shall (live) in bliss. 13 And most surely the wicked are in burning fire, 14 They shall enter it on the Day of Recompense 15 and from which they will find no escape. 16 And what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 17 Again, what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 18 It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, and all command shall be Allah's. 19
