Verily the God-fearing shall be amidst gardens and springs. 45 (Their greeting will be): "Enter ye here in peace and security." 46 We shall strip away all rancour that is in their breasts; as brothers they shall be upon couches set face to face; 47 There, no fatigue shall smite them, nor shall they ever be driven from it' 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I - I alone - am truly forgiving, a true dispenser of grace; 49 and [also,] that the suffering which I shall impose [on sinners] will indeed be a suffering most grievous. 50 Tell them about Abraham's guests: 51 when they came to him they greeted him with: "Peace." He said,"We feel afraid of you." 52 They said, “Do not fear – we convey to you the glad tidings of a knowledgeable boy.” 53 He said, “Do you convey to me the glad tidings upon old age reaching me? So upon what do you convey glad tidings?” (* Prophet Ibrahim said this out of surprise.) 54 "We have given you the happy tidings of a truth," they replied. "So do not be one of those who despair." 55 [Abraham] exclaimed: "And who - other than those who have utterly lost their way - could ever abandon the hope of his Sustainer's grace?" 56 He added: "And what [else] may you have in view, O you [heavenly] messengers?" 57 They answered: "We are sent to people lost in sin [who are to be destroyed,] 58 barring Lot's household, all of whom, behold, we shall save 59 excepting only his wife, [of whom God says,] 'We have ordained [that,] behold, she should be among those who stay behind!' 60
