NAY, but consider the moon! 32 Consider the night when it departs, 33 By the morning when it brighteneth. 34 Verily it is one of the greatest woes. 35 it is a warning to man, 36 to whoever of you desires to go forward or lag behind. 37 Every soul is held in pledge against its own deeds, 38 save the People of the Right Hand 39 (They will be) in Gardens (of Delight): they will question each other, 40 Of evil-doers: 41 "What has brought you into the Fire of Hell ?" 42 They will reply: 'We were not among those who prayed 43 nor did we feed the destitute. 44 "But we used to talk vanities with vain talkers; 45 And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 till the Certain came to us.' -- 47 So the intercession of the intercessors will not benefit them. (The disbelievers will not have any intercessor.) 48 Why now turn they away from the Admonishment, 49 like startled wild donkeys 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Indeed, each one of them desires to be given unrolled scrolls. 52 No indeed; the truth is that they have no fear of the Hereafter. 53 Yes indeed, this is an advice. 54 So whoever pleases may mind it. 55 But they will not remember except as God wills: He is worthy to be feared, and He is worthy of forgiving 56
Almighty God's Truth.
