But nay, I swear by all that you can see 38 And by whatsoever you see not, 39 That it is surely the speech brought by messenger honourable. 40 It is not the speech of a poet (little do you believe) 41 Nor is it the speech of a soothsayer; how little do you ponder! 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 43 And if the messenger were to invent any sayings in Our name, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand; 45 Then We would have cut from him the aorta. 46 not one of you could have prevented it from him. 47 Indeed, it is a Reminder to those who fear Allah, 48 And most surely We know that some of you are rejecters. 49 yet, behold, this [rejection] will indeed become a source of bitter regret for all who deny the truth [of God's revelation] 50 And lo! it is absolute truth. 51 So glorify the name of thy Lord Most High. 52
