He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ (The Prophet (Peace be upon him)) frowned and turned away, 1 Because the blind man had come in his august presence. 2 for how can you know that he might seek to purify himself, 3 Or take heed and so the reminder might avail him? 4 Now as for him who believes himself to be self-sufficient 5 you attended to him, 6 And no blame is on you if he would not purify himself 7 As for him who comes to you striving (after goodness), 8 And is afraid (of Allah and His Punishment), 9 So you leave him, and are engrossed elsewhere! 10 Assuredly this is a reminder 11 So whoever wills may remember it. 12 On honoured leaves 13 exalted, purified, 14 [borne] by the hands of messengers 15 noble, pious. 16 Perish man! how ungrateful he is! 17 From what did He create him? 18 Of a small seed; He created him, then He made him according to a measure, 19 Then He makes the Path easy for him; 20 Then gave him death, so had him put in the grave. 21 and then, if it be His will, He shall raise him again to life, 22 Certainly, he has not duly fulfilled His commands. 23 So man must look at his food. 24 How We poured down water in torrents, 25 Then We cracked the earth open under pressure (of germination) 26 And cause the grain to grow therein 27 and grape vines and vegetables, 28 And olives and palms 29 thickly planted gardens, 30 And fruit and grass - 31 all this as a provision for you and your cattle. 32 So when the deafening Shout arrives, 33 Man will fly from his brother, 34 his mother, his father, 35 As well as his wife and children. 36 For every man, that Day, will be a matter adequate for him. 37 Some faces will shine, 38 laughing, rejoicing at glad tidings. 39 And other faces that Day will be dust-stained, 40 Blackness will cover them. 41 It is they, the disbelievers, the sinners. 42
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
