We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 And showed them the right path. 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
