۞ So I swear by the setting places of the stars. 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 (This Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 You live by calling it a lie. 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, – 83 And ye are then looking on. 84 We are closer to him than you, even though you cannot see? 85 Then why is it not-- if you are not held under authority-- 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 Then, if he (the dying person) be of the Muqarrabun (those brought near to Allah), 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 he will be welcomed with boiling water. 93 He will burn in Hell. 94 This is indeed the ultimate truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 96
