Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

By the Glorious Morning Light, 1 And by the night when it is still (or darkens); 2 your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you, 3 And indeed the Hereafter is better for you than the present (life of this world). 4 Thy Lord shall give thee, and thou shalt be satisfied. 5 Has He not found thee an orphan, and given thee shelter? 6 Did He not find thee erring, and guide thee? 7 And found you in need, so made you prosperous? 8 Do not oppress the orphan, 9 And as to the beggar, chide thou him not. 10 But the bounty of the Lord - rehearse and proclaim! 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
