The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By oath of the night when it covers 1 and by the day as it appears radiantly, 2 And by Who created the male and female, 3 you strive in various ways. 4 Thus, as for him who gives [to others] and is conscious of God, 5 And affirms goodness, 6 We shall surely ease him to the Easing. 7 And as for him who is niggardly and considers himself free from need (of Allah), 8 and rejects what is right, 9 We shall surely ease him to the Hardship; 10 And what will his wealth avail him when he falls? 11 It is indeed for Us to show the way, 12 and to Us belong the hereafter and the worldly life. 13 So I have warned you of a Fire which is blazing. 14 No one will burn in it but the most wretched, 15 who have rejected the (Truth) and have turned away from it. 16 Far removed from it will be the righteous 17 even he who gives his wealth. to purify himself 18 And have in their minds no favour from anyone for which a reward is expected in return, 19 But only seeking the countenance of his Lord, Most High. 20 And indeed, soon he will be very pleased. 21
Almighty Allah's Truth.
