O Prophet, tell your wives, your daughters and the believing women to draw their veils close to them, so it is likelier they will be known, and not hurt. Allah is the Forgiver, the Most Merciful. 59 ۞ THUS IT IS: if the hypocrites, and they in whose hearts is disease, and they who, by spreading false rumours, would cause disturbances in the City [of the Prophet] desist not [from their hostile doings]; We shall indeed give thee mastery over them, [O Muhammad] - and then they will not remain thy neighbours in this [city] for more than a little while: 60 Cursed: wherever they are found they shall be seized and murdered, a (horrible) murdering. 61 (Such was) the practice (approved) of Allah among those who lived aforetime: No change wilt thou find in the practice (approved) of Allah. 62 Men ask thee concerning the Hour: Say, "The knowledge thereof is with Allah (alone)": and what will make thee understand?- perchance the Hour is nigh! 63 Verily Allah has cursed the Unbelievers and prepared for them a Blazing Fire,- 64 Wherein they will abide for ever. They will find (then) no protecting friend nor helper. 65 On the Day whereon their faces shall be rolled in the Fire, they will say: Oh that we had obeyed Allah and had obeyed the apostle! 66 They shall say, 'Our Lord, we obeyed our chiefs and great ones, and they led us astray from the way. 67 “Our Lord! Give them double the punishment of the fire and send upon them a mighty curse!” 68
