Say: "[Thus speaks God:] 'O you servants of Mine who have attained to faith! Be conscious of your Sustainer! Ultimate good awaits those who persevere in doing good in this world. And [remember:] wide is God's earth, [and,] verily, they who are patient in adversity will be given their reward in full, beyond all reckoning!'" 10 Say, “I am commanded that I must worship Allah as His sincere bondman.” (And so must you too.) 11 And I am commanded to be the first of those who are muslims (surrender unto Him). 12 Say, "I fear, if I disobey my Lord, the punishment of a Terrible Day." 13 Say: "It is Allah I serve, with my sincere (and exclusive) devotion: 14 "Serve ye what ye will besides him." Say: "Truly, those in loss are those who lose their own souls and their People on the Day of Judgment: Ah! that is indeed the (real and) evident Loss! 15 Above them they shall have layers of fire and beneath them layers. By this Allah puts fear into His worshipers' 'O My worshipers, fear Me' 16 And (as for) those who keep off from the worship of the idols and turn to Allah, they shall have good news, therefore give good news to My servants, 17 Who listen to speech and follow the best of it. Those are the ones Allah has guided, and those are people of understanding. 18 Is, then, one against whom the decree of Punishment is justly due (equal to one who eschews Evil)? Wouldst thou, then, deliver one (who is) in the Fire? 19 But for those who truly feared their Lord, there will be tall mansions, built up storey upon storey, beneath which there will be rivers flowing. This is God's promise: God never fails in His promise. 20 Seest thou not that Allah sends down rain from the sky, and leads it through springs in the earth? Then He causes to grow, therewith, produce of various colours: then it withers; thou wilt see it grow yellow; then He makes it dry up and crumble away. Truly, in this, is a Message of remembrance to men of understanding. 21
