Say: Who hath forbidden the beautiful (gifts) of Allah, which He hath produced for His servants, and the things, clean and pure, (which He hath provided) for sustenance? Say: They are, in the life of this world, for those who believe, (and) purely for them on the Day of Judgment. Thus do We explain the signs in detail for those who understand. 32 Say, "My Lord has only forbidden immoralities - what is apparent of them and what is concealed - and sin, and oppression without right, and that you associate with Allah that for which He has not sent down authority, and that you say about Allah that which you do not know." 33 For all people a term has been set: and when [the end of] their term approaches, they can neither delay it by a single moment, nor can they advance it. 34 O Children of Adam! if there come unto you apostles from amongst you recounting My signs unto you, then whosoever shall fear God and amend, on them no fear shall come nor they shall grieve. 35 But those who deny and scorn Our revelations shall be the inmates of Hell, where they shall remain forever. 36 Who does a greater wrong than he who invents lies against God or rejects His revelations? Such people will have what has been decreed for them. And when Our messengers come to them to take away their souls, they shall ask them, "Where are those you used to call upon besides God?" They will answer, "They have deserted us;" and they will bear witness against themselves that they were disbelievers? 37 Allah will say: enter the Fire among the communities who have passed away before you, of genii and mankind. So oft as a community will enter it, it shall curse its sister, until, when all shall have arrived one after another therein, the last of them shall say of the first of them: our Lord! these led us astray; so mete out unto them a double torment of the Fire, He will say: to each, double; but ye know not. 38 then the preceding one will say to the succeeding one: you are no better than us: so taste the punishment you have earned." 39
