Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have set in heaven constellations and decked them out fair to the beholders, 16 and guarded them from every stoned satan. 17 But any that gains a hearing by stealth, is pursued by a flaming fire, bright (to see). 18 And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing. 19 to provide you and those for whose sustenance you are not responsible, with the necessities of life. 20 Of all things there are We have the stores, and send them down in determined measure. 21 And We loose the winds fertilising, and We send down out of heaven water, then We give it to you to drink, and you are not its treasurers. 22 And surely, it is We who give life and make to die. We are the Inheritor. 23 We know those who lived before you and those who will come after you. 24 Your Lord will surely gather them together: Certainly He is all-wise and all-knowing. 25
