(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 High has He reared its vault and formed it in accordance with what it was meant to be; 28 and darkened its night, and brought forth its forenoon; 29 And the earth! thereafter He stretched it out. 30 And from it produced its water and its pasture. 31 And the mountains He has fixed firmly; 32 As provision for you and your grazing livestock. 33 So when the greatest universal disaster arrives, 34 The Day when man will remember that for which he strove, 35 And hell will be made visible to all those who can see. 36 Then, as for him who rebelled 37 And chose the life of the world, 38 Then surely the hell, that is the abode. 39 But unto him who shall have stood in fear of his Sustainer's Presence, and held back his inner self from base desires, 40 Will surely have Paradise for abode. 41 They question thee of the Hour: when will its arrival be? 42 What concern do you have regarding its explanation? (You are not bound to tell them) 43 Its final end is for your Lord. 44 You are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 It shall be as if; on the day they see it, they have but tarried for an evening, or its forenoon. 46
