VERILY, those who are conscious of God [shall find themselves in the hereafter] amidst gardens and springs, 45 [having been received with the greeting,] "Enter here in peace, secure!" 46 And We remove whatever rancour may be in their breasts. As brethren, face to face, (they rest) on couches raised. 47 Toil cometh not unto them there, nor will they be expelled from thence. 48 ۞ [O Muhammad], inform My servants that it is I who am the Forgiving, the Merciful. 49 And that My doom is the dolorous doom. 50 And tell them about Abraham's guests. 51 who came to him saying, "Peace be with you." Abraham said, "We are afraid of you". 52 They said, “Do not fear – we convey to you the glad tidings of a knowledgeable boy.” 53 He said: bear ye me glad tidings when old age hath touched me? of what then ye bear me glad tidings? 54 They said: We bring thee good tidings in truth. So be not thou of the despairing. 55 Abraham said: "Who despairs of the Mercy of his Lord except the misguided?" 56 He said, “And what is your next task, O the sent angels?” 57 They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals, 58 “Except the family of Lut; we shall rescue all of them.” 59 all together, excepting his wife -- we have decreed, she shall surely be of those that tarry.' 60
