Blessed is He who has placed in the sky great stars and placed therein a [burning] lamp and luminous moon. 61 And it is He who has made the night and the day in succession for whoever desires to remember or desires gratitude. 62 (Among) the servants of the Beneficent God are those who walk gently on the earth and when addressed by the ignorant ones, their only response is, "Peace be with you." 63 And those who spend [part of] the night to their Lord prostrating and standing [in prayer] 64 And those who say, "Our Lord, avert from us the punishment of Hell. Indeed, its punishment is ever adhering; 65 Lo! it is wretched as abode and station; 66 And they who when they spend, are neither extravagant nor parsimonious, and (keep) between these the just mean. 67 And those who call not unto other god along with Allah and slay not any soul which Allah hath forbidden, save in justification, and commit not fornication. And whosoever shall do this, shall incur the meed. 68 The torment will be doubled to him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein in disgrace; 69 Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous work. For them Allah will replace their evil deeds with good. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful. 70 And whoever repents and does good deeds – so he has inclined towards Allah with repentance as was required. 71 And those who bear not false witness and, when they pass by idle talk, pass by with dignity; 72 who, when reminded of the revelations of their Lord, do not try to ignore them as though deaf and blind. Rather, they try to understand and think about them. 73 And they who say: O our Lord! grant us in our wives and our offspring the joy of our eyes, and make us guides to those who guard (against evil). 74 Those shall be rewarded with the highest apartment, because they persevered; and therein they shall be met with a greeting and salutation. 75 Abiding therein; excellent it is as an abode, and as a place to dwell. 76 O Muhammad, tell the people, "MyLord does not care at all if you do not invoke Him. Now that you have denied (His Revelation), you will soon be awarded such a punishment which you will never be able to avoid." 77
