"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 Enter therein in peace, secure. 46 We shall strip away all rancour that is in their breasts; as brothers they shall be upon couches set face to face; 47 There shall touch them no toil therein, nor therefrom they shall ever be driven out. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I - I alone - am truly forgiving, a true dispenser of grace; 49 And that My Penalty will be indeed the most grievous Penalty. 50 Tell them about the guests of Abraham 51 They entered to him and said: 'Peace' but he replied: 'We are afraid of you' 52 [The angels] said, "Fear not. Indeed, we give you good tidings of a learned boy." 53 He said: "Do ye give me glad tidings that old age has seized me? Of what, then, is your good news?" 54 They said, "We have given you good tidings in truth, so do not be of the despairing." 55 He replied: 'And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, except those that are astray? 56 He added: "And what [else] may you have in view, O you [heavenly] messengers?" 57 They replied: 'We are sent to sinful nation. 58 barring Lot's household, all of whom, behold, we shall save 59 Except his wife; We ordained that she shall surely be of those who remain behind. 60
