Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder. 1 And when the stars shall be scattered, 2 When the seas are poured forth, 3 and when the graves are laid open: 4 Each soul shall know that which it sent afore and that which it left behind. 5 O man, what seduced you from your munificent Lord 6 Who created you, shaped you, and made you well-proportioned, 7 Shaping you into any form He pleased? 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers, 10 Noble and recording; 11 who know of all that you do. 12 Most surely the righteous are in bliss, 13 But the wicked, indeed they shall be in the Fiery Furnace, 14 roasting therein on the Day of Doom, 15 to burn therein. 16 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Again would that you only knew how terrible it really is! 18 It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, and all command shall be Allah's. 19
