Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ Did We not widen your bosom? 1 and relieve you of the burden 2 which had been a heavy weight upon your back 3 And exalted for you your esteem? 4 So truly with hardship comes ease, 5 Indeed with hardship is ease. 6 Hence, when thou art freed [from distress,] remain steadfast, 7 And strive to please thy Lord. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
