The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

The terrible calamity! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 It is a Day whereon mankind will be like moths scattered about, 4 and the mountains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Those whose good deeds will weigh heavier (on the scale) 6 shall have a blissful life; 7 But as for him whose deeds are light on the scales, 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 And what do you know what that is? 10 A fire hotly burning! 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
