3/4 Hizb 45

And Noah verily prayed unto Us, and gracious was the Hearer of his prayer 75 We rescued him and his people from the greatest affliction 76 And made his seed the survivors, 77 And left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations to come in later times: 78 "Peace upon Noah among the worlds." 79 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 80 Verily he was of Our bondmen believing. 81 We drowned the rest. 82 ۞ AND, BEHOLD, of his persuasion was Abraham, too, 83 When he came to his Lord with a sound heart 84 [And] when he said to his father and his people, "What do you worship? 85 Is it false deities that you want to serve rather than Allah? 86 What is then your idea about the Lord of the worlds? 87 And he glanced a glance at the stars 88 And he said: "Verily, I am sick (with plague. He did this trick to remain in their temple of idols to destroy them and not to accompany them to the pagan's feast)." 89 So they turned away from him, departing. 90 Then he turned aside to their gods secretly and said: What! do you not eat? 91 What ails you, that you speak not?' 92 He struck them with his right hand. 93 whereupon people came to him running. 94 He said, "How can you worship what you yourselves have carved 95 While Allah created you and that which you do?" 96 They spoke among themselves: “Build him a pyre and then throw him into the furnace.” 97 They plotted against him, but We brought humiliation upon them. 98 And [Abraham] said: "Verily, I shall [leave this land and] go wherever my Sustainer will guide me!" 99 My Lord! Vouchsafe me of the righteous. 100 And We gave him the glad tidings of a very gentle son (Ishmael). 101 and when he was old enough to go about and work with him, (one day) Abraham said to him: “My son, I see in my dream that I am slaughtering you. So consider (and tell me) what you think.” He said: “Do as you are bidden. You will find me, if Allah so wills, among the steadfast.” 102 Then, when they had both surrendered (to Allah), and he had flung him down upon his face, 103 And We called out to him, “O Ibrahim!” 104 you have indeed fulfilled your dream. Thus do We reward the good-doers.” 105 Indeed, this was the clear trial. 106 And We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice, 107 and left for him among the later folk 108 Peace be unto Ibrahim: 109 Thus do We reward the doers of good. 110 He was one of Our believing servants. 111 So We gave him the good news of Isaac, apostle, who is among the righteous. 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. Among the offspring of the two some did good and some plainly wronged themselves. 113
