And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
