▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
BUT FOR THOSE who of their Sustainer's Presence stand in fear, two gardens [of paradise are readied] 46 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 47 Having [spreading] branches. 48 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 49 In both of them are two springs, flowing. 50 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 51 In them (both) will be every kind of fruit in pairs. 52 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 53 [They are] reclining on beds whose linings are of silk brocade, and the fruit of the two gardens is hanging low. 54 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 55 Upon thrones are the women who do not gaze at men except their husbands, and before them, are untouched by any man or jinn. 56 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 57 As if they were rubies and coral. 58 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 59 Is there any Reward for Good - other than Good? 60 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 61 And besides those two will be yet two [other] gardens 62 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 63 dark green in color. 64 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 65 Wherein are two abundant springs. 66 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 67 Therein will be fruits and dates and pomegranates. 68 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 69 In them are good and beautiful women - 70 jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 71 They are houris (maidens of Paradise), hidden from view, in pavilions. 72 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 73 untouched by jinn or mankind before. 74 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 75 [In such a paradise will they dwell,] reclining upon meadows green and carpets rich in beauty. 76 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 77 Blessed be the name of thy Lord, full of Majesty, Bounty and Honour. 78
