The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Event (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) befalls. 1 and then there will be no one to deny its occurrence 2 Degrading (some) and exalting (others); 3 When the earth shall be shaken with a (severe) shaking, 4 And the mountains will be powdered to dust. 5 And become dust dispersing. 6 And ye shall be sorted out into three classes. 7 Those on the Right -- how blessed are those on the Right! 8 Companions of the Left, what are the Companions of the Left? 9 As for the Foremost, they will be the foremost! 10 they who were [always] drawn close unto God! 11 In the gardens of bliss. 12 a large group of the early believers, 13 and only a few of them from the later generations. 14 They will recline on jewelled couches 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 There shall go round unto them youths ever-young. 17 with goblets, and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 Unheady, uninebriating; 19 along with fruits of their choice; 20 And meat of birds that they may wish. 21 and there shall be wide-eyed maidens, 22 Like unto Pearls well-guarded. 23 All this shall be theirs as a reward for their deeds. 24 There they shall hear no idle talk nor any sinful speech. 25 But only the saying of: Salam!, Salam! (greetings with peace)! 26 The Companions of the Right 27 (will be) among thornless Lote trees. 28 and clustered bananas, 29 And extended shade, 30 By water flowing constantly, 31 And fruits numberless, 32 Neither out of reach nor yet forbidden, 33 and raised couches 34 Verily, We have created them (maidens) of special creation. 35 We have made them virgins, 36 loving companions, matching in age, 37 For those on the right. 38

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
