The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the heaven, holding the big stars. 1 and by the promised Day, 2 By one that witnesses, and the subject of the witness;- 3 Cursed were the people of the ditch (the story of the Boy and the King). 4 the fire with its fuel, 5 when they were seated over it 6 and were themselves witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 The only reason for which they tormented the believers was the latter's belief in God, the Majestic, and Praiseworthy. 8 and the One to whom belongs the heavens and the earth. God is the Witness of all things. 9 Those who persecute the believing men and women without repenting will suffer the torment of hell and that of the burning fire. 10 Verily those who believed and worked righteous works, theirs shall be Gardens whereunder the rivers flow; that is the supreme achievement. 11 Indeed, the seizing of your Lord is severe. 12 Verily He! He it is who beginneth and repeateth it. 13 and He is the Forgiving and Loving One. 14 Owner of the throne, the Glorious 15 Performer of what He desires. 16 Hast thou received the story of the hosts, 17 Of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) and Thamud? 18 In fact, the disbelievers had always rejected (Our revelations). 19 although Allah surrounds them. 20 Indeed, this is a Glorious Koran, 21 (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved! 22
