Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the midmorning, 1 and the brooding night! 2 Your Lord has neither left you, nor despises you. 3 and the Last shall be better for thee than the First. 4 And indeed your Lord will soon give you so much that you will be pleased. (Allah seeks to please the Holy Prophet – peace and blessings be upon him.) 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 And found thee in want, and given thee sufficiency? 8 Therefor the orphan oppress not, 9 And do not drive the beggar away, 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
