Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the glorious morning light; 1 And by the night when it is still (or darkens); 2 (O Prophet), your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased. 3 And verily the latter portion will be better for thee than the former, 4 And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)? 6 Did He not find you a wanderer so He guided you? 7 And find you in want and make you to be free from want? 8 Therefore do not oppress the orphan. 9 nor drive away the one who asks. 10 and proclaim the bounty of your Lord. 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
