Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Have We not expanded your chest for you (Prophet Muhammad), 1 And removed from you your burden, 2 Which pressed heavily upon your back, 3 And did We not exalt your fame? 4 Indeed, hardship is followed by ease, 5 Lo! with hardship goeth ease; 6 When you are free from (your obligations), strive hard (to worship God) 7 And strive to please thy Lord. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
