The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its appointed tremor. 1 And the earth brings forth her burdens, 2 And man saith: What aileth her? 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 For your Lord will have commanded it. 5 On that Day will all men come forward, cut off from one another, to be shown their [past] deeds. 6 And so, he who shall have done an atom's weight of good, shall behold it; 7 And he who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
