The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Alif. Lam. Mim. 1 There is no doubt that this book is a guide for the pious; 2 who believe in the unseen, establish the Salats and expend (in Our way) out of what We have bestowed on them; 3 those who believe in the revelation sent down to you and in what was sent before you, and firmly believe in the life to come -- 4 they are the people who are rightly following their Lord and it is they who shall be successful. 5 As for those who deny, it is all the same if you warn them or not, they will not believe. 6 Allah has set a seal upon their hearts and upon their hearing, and over their vision is a veil. And for them is a great punishment. 7
