AND, INDEED, We have set up in the heavens great constellations, and endowed them with beauty for all to behold; 16 And (moreover) We have guarded them from every cursed devil: 17 Except one who comes to eavesdrop therefore a bright flame goes after him. 18 And the earth We spread out, and placed therein firm mountains, and caused to grow therein all kinds of things in due proportion. 19 and provided thereon means of livelihood for you [O men] as well as for all [living beings] whose sustenance does not depend on you. 20 And there is not of aught but with Us are the treasures thereof, and We send it not down save in a measure known 21 And We let loose the winds to fertilize [plants] and We send down water from the skies and let you drink thereof: and it is not you who dispose of its source 22 And most surely We bring to life and cause to die and We are the heirs. 23 We know the people who lived before you and those who will come into existence after you. 24 Indeed your Lord will gather them all together. Surely He is All-Wise, All-Knowing. 25

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
