And Jonah too was one of the Messengers. 139 He abandoned his people 140 Then he joined the lots, and was of the condemned. 141 So the whale swallowed him, for he was blameworthy, 142 Now had he not been of those that glorify God, 143 He would certainly have remained inside the Fish till the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ But We threw him onto the open shore while he was ill. 145 and We caused a gourd tree to grow over him. 146 Then We sent him unto a hundred thousand, or more, 147 and [this time] they believed [in him] and so We allowed them to enjoy their life during the time allotted to them? 148 Now ask them their opinion: Is it that thy Lord has (only) daughters, and they have sons?- 149 Or did We make the angels females, and they witnessed it? 150 Pay heed! It is their slander that they say. 151 “Allah has begotten.” They are liars! 152 Did He (then) choose daughters rather than sons? 153 What ails you that you judge in such a wise? 154 Do you not understand? 155 Or have you clear evidence? 156 Bring your Book, if you are truthful. 157 And they have claimed between Him and the jinn a lineage, but the jinn have already known that they [who made such claims] will be brought to [punishment]. 158 Exalted is Allah above what they describe, 159 Except the slaves of Allah, whom He choses (for His Mercy i.e. true believers of Islamic Monotheism who do not attribute false things unto Allah). 160 So indeed, you [disbelievers] and whatever you worship, 161 you shall tempt none against Him 162 Except those who are predestined to burn in Hell! 163 The angels say, "Each of us has an appointed place. 164 “And indeed we, with our wings spread, await the command.” 165 Verily, we (angels), we are they who glorify (Allah's Praises i.e. perform prayers). 166 And surely they used to say: 167 "If only we had a tradition [to this effect] from our forebears, 168 “We would certainly be the chosen bondmen of Allah.” 169 They therefore denied it, so they will soon come to know. 170 Already has Our Word been passed before (this) to our Servants sent (by Us), 171 That they verily would be helped, 172 And surely, only Our army will be victorious. 173 Therefore turn away from them for some time. 174 And watch, for they will (soon) see. 175 Do they really wish to hasten Our punishment? 176 When it descends upon their courtyards, evil will be the morning of those forewarned. 177 And turn away from them for some time. 178 And (then) see, for they too shall see. 179 Glorified be your Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power! (He is free) from what they attribute unto Him! 180 And peace be unto those sent (to warn). 181 And Praise to Allah, the Lord and Cherisher of the Worlds. 182
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)

Notes and Instructions
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
