In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 by the scatterers scattering 3 Then separate them, one from another, 4 Then spread abroad a Message, 5 As justification or warning, 6 What is promised will surely come to pass. 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 and the mountains scattered, 10 And when the time of the Noble Messengers arrives. 11 For what day has the term [of all this] been set? 12 one will be told, "To the Day of Distinction". 13 And what could make thee conceive what that Day of Distinction will be? 14 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 15 Did We not destroy the ancient people 16 We shall then send the latter after them. 17 As such shall We deal with the sinners. 18 On that day, woe upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 19 Did We not create you from a humble fluid, 20 then placed it in a secure repository [the womb], 21 For a certain appointed time, 22 Thus have We determined [the nature of man's creation]: and excellent indeed is Our power to determine [what is to be]! 23 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a container 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and given you fresh water to drink? 27 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 28 (It will be said unto them:) Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny; 29 "Depart you to a shadow (of Hell-fire smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 which neither provides (cooling) shade nor protection against the flames; 31 it indeed throws up sparks like castles, 32 as black camels. 33 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 34 This is a Day they will not speak, 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 37 Such is the Day of Decision. We will gather you with the ancients. 38 So if you have any plot to devise against Me, then devise it. 39 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
