Tell also of Moses in the Book. He was indeed a chosen one, and was a messenger and a prophet. 51 And We called him from the side of the mount at [his] right and brought him near, confiding [to him]. 52 And We bestowed on him, out of Our mercy, his brother Harun, a prophet. 53 Commemorate Ishmael in the Book. He was true of his promise, and a messenger, a prophet. 54 He used to command his people to offer prayer and give charity, and was liked by his Lord. 55 And make mention in the Scripture of Idris. Lo! he was a saint, a prophet; 56 And We raised him to high station. 57 These are whom Allah has blessed among the Prophets from among the seed of Adam and of those whom We bore with Noah; the descendants ofAbraham, of Israel, and of those whom We have guided and chose. For when the verses of the Merciful were recited to them, they fell down prostrate, weeping. ۩ 58 ۞ Now there hath succeeded them a later generation whom have ruined worship and have followed lusts. But they will meet deception. 59 save him who repents, and believes, and does a righteous deed; those -- they shall enter Paradise, and they shall not be wronged anything; 60 Gardens Everlasting, which the Compassionate hath promised unto his bondmen, unseen; verily His promise is ever to be fulfilled. 61 They shall not hear therein any vain discourse, but only: Peace, and they shall have their sustenance therein morning and evening. 62 That is the Garden which We will grant to those of Our servants who have been God-fearing. 63 (Muhammad), we (the angels) do not come to you without being commanded by your Lord to do so. To Him belongs all that is before us, behind us, and in between. Your Lord is not forgetful. 64 He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is in between. Serve Him, then, and be constant in serving Him. Do you know anyone that might be His compeer?" 65
