۞ By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 “And indeed they have angered all of us.” 55 But we are a numerous host, ever on guard." 56 So We made them leave the gardens and springs of water, 57 And from treasures and nice houses. 58 Thus we let the Israelites inherit them all. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!" 61 Said Moosa, “Never! Indeed my Lord is with me, He will now show me the way.” 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 And We saved Musa and those with him, all of them. 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 67 Surely, your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
