Say (O Prophet): “Allah suffices as a witness between me and you. He knows whatever is in the heavens and the earth. As for those who believe in falsehood and are engaged in infidelity with Allah, it is they who will be the losers.” 52 They ask you to hasten the punishment. Had there not been an appointed time for it, the punishment would already have come to them. Indeed it will come down upon them suddenly and catch them unawares. 53 They ask you to hasten the chastisement upon them although Hell encompasses the unbelievers. 54 On the Day whereon the torment shall cover them from above them and from underneath their feet, and He shall say: taste that which ye have been working! 55 O My worshipers who believe, My earth is vast, therefore worship Me! 56 Every soul shall taste of death; then unto Us you shall be returned. 57 And (as for) those who believe and do good, We will certainly give them abode in the high places in gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding therein; how good the reward of the workers: 58 who remained steadfast and put their trust in their Lord! 59 And how many a creature carries not its [own] provision. Allah provides for it and for you. And He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 60 If you were to ask them: "Who has created the heavens and the earth and subjected the sun and the moon?" They will surely reply: "Allah." How then are they deviating (as polytheists and disbelievers)? 61 God outspreads and straitens His provision to whomsoever He will of His servants; God has knowledge of everything. 62 If you were to ask them: "Who sends down water (rain) from the sky, and gives life therewith to the earth after its death?" They will surely reply: "Allah." Say: "All the praises and thanks be to Allah!" Nay! Most of them have no sense. 63
