(O Prophet), did you see him who turned away (from the Path of Allah), 33 and gives so little [of himself for the good of his soul,] and so grudgingly? 34 Hath he knowledge of the Unseen so that he seeth? 35 Did not the news reach him, of that which is mentioned in the Books of Moosa? 36 And with Abraham who kept his word: 37 That no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another 38 and that everyone shall have in his account only that which he worked for, 39 and that his labouring shall surely be seen, 40 Then will he be rewarded with a reward complete; 41 And that thy Lord, He is the goal; 42 that it is He who causes to laugh and causes to weep. 43 And that He it is Who giveth death and giveth life; 44 And that He creates the two mates - the male and female - 45 From the small seed when it is adapted 46 and that it is for Him to grant the second life, 47 It is He who grants people temporary and durable wealth. 48 and that He is the Lord of (the star) Sirius, 49 And that He destroyed the former 'A-ad. 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace [of them,] 51 and the people of Noah; they were the most unjust and rebellious people. 52 and He overthrew the subverted cities [of Sodom and Gomorrah] 53 So there covered them that which did cover (i.e. torment with stones). 54 Which of your Lord's benefits will you then dispute about? 55 This is a warner, of the warners of old. 56 that [Last Hour] which is so near draws ever nearer, 57 None but God can avert it. 58 Marvel ye then at this statement, 59 And do you laugh instead of weeping, 60 While you are proudly sporting? 61 So prostrate yourselves before Allah and worship. ۩ 62
Almighty Allah's Truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
