We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
