Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Qaf. By the glorious Qur'an. 1 In fact, it seems odd (to the pagans) that a warner from their own people has come to them. The disbelievers have said, "It is very strange 2 "When we are dead and have become dust (shall we be resurrected?) That is a far return." 3 We already know how much of them (of their bodies) the earth will consume. With Us there is a Book that contains all records. 4 In fact they denied the Truth when it came to them, so they are now in a dilemma. 5 Did they never observe the sky above them: how We built it and beautified it; and it has no cracks; 6 And the earth - We spread it out and cast therein firmly set mountains and made grow therein [something] of every beautiful kind, 7 as a lesson and reminder for every human being who turns to God; 8 We also sent down blessed water from the heaven, wherewith We caused gardens and harvest-grain to grow, 9 and tall palm-trees with their thickly-clustered dates, 10 Provision (made) for men; and therewith We quicken a dead land. Even so will be the resurrection of the dead. 11 Before these, the people of Nooh had denied, and so did the dwellers of Rass and the Thamud. 12 And the A-ad, and Fir'awn, and the brethren of Lut. 13 And the dwellers of the Wood and people of Tubba'. Each of them denied the apostles. So My threat became a reality. 14 Were We then weary with the first Creation, that they should be in confused doubt about a new Creation? 15
