Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Qaf. By the Glorious Qur'an, 1 But they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, and the disbelievers say, "This is an amazing thing. 2 Shall we be brought back when we are dead and have become dust? That is a return remote! 3 We know all what the earth decreases from them; and with Us is a Book that retains. 4 They gave the lie to the Truth when it came to them. So they are now in a state of great perplexity. 5 What, have they not beheld heaven above them, how We have built it, and decked it out fair, and it has no cracks? 6 And the earth! We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and have produced therein every kind of lovely growth (plants). 7 To give sight and as a reminder to every servant who turns frequently (to Allah). 8 We have sent blessed water down from the sky to grow gardens, harvestable crops 9 And lofty palm trees having fruit arranged in layers - 10 As a provision for men, and enlivened a region that was dead. Even thus will be the life after death. 11 The folk of Noah denied (the truth) before them, and (so did) the dwellers at Ar-Rass and (the tribe of) Thamud, 12 and Ad and Pharaoh, the brothers of Lot, 13 dwellers of the forest, and the people of Tubba had all rejected the Prophets. Thus, they became subject to Our torment. 14 Were We then weary with the first Creation, that they should be in confused doubt about a new Creation? 15
