۞ Many as the angels be in heaven their intercession will not avail in the least without God's permission for whomsoever He please and approve. 26 Only those who do not believe in the life hereafter call the angels, females. They have no knowledge about it. 27 They have not any knowledge thereof; they follow only surmise, and surmise avails naught against truth. 28 Therefore shun those who turn away from Our Message and desire nothing but the life of this world. 29 That is all they have of knowledge. Your Lord knows best who has strayed from His Path, and those who are guided. 30 To God belongs whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth, that He may recompense those who do evil for what they have done, and recompense those who have done good with the reward most fair. 31 As for those who avoid the [truly] grave sins and shameful deeds - even though they may sometimes stumble behold, thy Sustainer is abounding in forgiveness. He is fully aware of you when He brings you into being out of dust, and when you are still hidden in your mothers' wombs: do not, then, consider yourselves pure - [for] He knows best as to who is conscious of Him. 32
